We are Social Vibgyor, a student-run sociology magazine from Miranda House, University of Delhi. We write about power, identity, and the social world because theory only matters when it meets real life.

( About us )
Social Vibgyor is a student-led sociology magazine rooted in Miranda House, University of Delhi. We're a team of students who believe sociology shouldn't stay confined to textbooks it belongs in conversations about power, identity, inequality, culture, and everyday life.
We create a space where students, researchers, and young scholars can think critically about the world around them. Our work sits at the intersection of sociological theory and lived experience reflective, research-oriented, and always asking harder questions.
We're guided by a commitment to intellectual rigor, academic integrity, and diverse representation. We challenge dominant narratives, question taken-for-granted assumptions, and believe that honest engagement with social realities is itself a form of contribution.
Social Vibgyor isn't just a magazine. It's a growing community of socially conscious thinkers who don't just observe society they examine it, interpret it, and work toward changing it.
